Description:An introduction to the
divine and heroic myths and to the religion of the Roman world. There will also
be consideration of the various approaches to the interpretation of myths.

Course Requirements
- Term Tests (50%):
- Multiple Choice (2 X 15%)--Feb. 2 & Mar. 16: Each test will have 75-100 multiple choice
questions.
- Essay Test (20%)--Mar. 2: The question(s) will be given to you at least
two weeks before the test. You are expected to prepare an answer in
advance, but you will be required to write the essay under exam
conditions without any examination aids.
- Final Examination (50%): The final exam will be held during the final
examination period as scheduled by the registrar's office. The exam will
comprise two parts: approximately 100-150 multiple choice questions (50%)
and one essay (50%). As with the term test, the essay questions will be
given at least two weeks before the exam
