Accessibiltiy

Anyone with specific needs is encouraged to discuss them with the instructor within the first month of classes. UNBSJ is committed to accessibility for all students. Here are the regulations which pertain to students with disabilities:

12(b) Students with disabilities may request reasonable accommodations to enable them to complete academic requirements. The students may be required to provide the university with professional reports which contain specific recommended accommodations which are necessary for the student to achieve course, examinations, and program completion.
The university will respond to requests for reasonable accommodations as its resources permit.

12(c) Students who wish to be considered under the provisions in 12(b) must make the request to the instructor no later than the official date to withdraw from the course without academic penalty.

For more information see UNB's Handbook for Accomodating Students With Disabilities at http://www.unb.ca/current/special/index.html.
