SEAWOLVES HOST ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL 'HOWL
WITH THE WOLVES' PROGRAM FOR KIDS!

Howl with the Wolves
October 18, 2009
The first session of Howl with the Wolves, in this the fifth year of the program, got off to a great start. Once again soccer was featured as the opening Howl with the Wolves session. The event took place at the beautiful Arthur Miller Field in Rothesay. The weather was sunny but unseasonably cold and windy. However, this didn't seem to bother the children or the many parents who gathered. The children were kept warm with all the soccer related activities.
There was a terrific turnout from varsity men's and women's soccer teams who gave of their time to help the children enjoy positive physical activity. Over 70 children from District 6 attended the session. They were divided up into groups of approximately 11 children and two varsity soccer players were paired with each group with Jason Brown, the coach of the men's team, leading the overall session and circulating around to give each group some of his time. Varsity student-athletes from the men's team included: Nathan Munroe, Nick Woodhouse, Brian Peters, Niels Botman, William Van Veen, Nick London, Mike Weatherbie, Alex Patriquen and Jon LeBlanc. Erica Forward, Jennifer Bergeron and Nathalie Jones were the instructors from the women's varsity soccer team.
