February 11th Basketball Blitz!!The Athletics, Recreation & Wellness Department is hosting a basketball blitz on Saturday, February 11th. The day's activities will begin at 4 pm with the 3rd annual alumni game between the Mount Allison Mounties and the UNBSJ Seawolves/Red Barons. At 6 pm, the UNBSJ Seawolves will take on the Mount A Mounties in ACAA women's basketball action to battle for the 6th annual Kingston Cup, followed by an 8 pm men's game.
The first 50 children that come in wearing their minor basketball jerseys will receive a free Seawolf bear bell, and there will be a birthday party with free cake for everyone in honour of the cherished Seamore (Seawolves' mascot) following the 6 pm women's game.
Admission to the Alumni game is free, for the other games: Adults $4, Students with UNB ID $3, and Children FREE.
All proceeds will go towards SRC (Students' Representative Council) memorial athletics bursaries for a male and a female student-athlete which will be awarded at the end of the year awards banquet on March 31.
