Information Centre
The
Student Information Centre is a service offered by the Students' Representative
Council (SRC) that provides the entire student body with convenient
and economical services. It is a "one-stop shoppping centre" that caters
to the needs of ALL students at UNBSJ.
SPARC-SJ
The UNB Associated
Alumni has implemented a program at UNBSJ entitled SPARC-SJ (Student
Pride and Alumni Relations Committee). Students involved with SPARC-SJ
work with the Associated Alumni to promote UNBSJ to prospective students
and commit to establishing a relationship between current students
and their respective Alumni Association.
Women's
Resource Centre
The Women's Resource
Centre is a valuable resource for women and men on the UNBSJ campus.
Offering information on health issues, domestic and date violence and
a number of other resources throughout the city and surrounding area,
the WRC has something to offer everyone on campus.

Alpine
Club
The Alpine Club
is one of the longest lasting social clubs on campus. This club participates
in charity events, organizes student activities, trips halfway around
the globe and may event tip the glass back a time or two.
Asian
Students' Society
This organization
was created with a view to introducing Asian culture to Canadian
and International Students, faculty and staff. Having numerous members
from the community outside the campus, this society helps students
to mingle with the public as well as with each other. The events
organized by this society include Hindi movies every two weeks, monthly
airings of Chinese movies, a potluck and culture show, a summer picnic,
games and etc
Bangledeshi Student
Association
Bangladeshi Student Association (BSA) was established to represent all the Bangladeshi
students as a whole amongst all the Social and Cultural clubs at UNBSJ, after
realizing the basic needs and wants of all the Bangladeshi students regarding
their university and personal life at the university.
Biology
Society, the
Is a club made up
mostly of Biology students but welcomes members from all faculties.
Events range from parties to educational Biology-related events.
Business
Administration Society
The UNBSJ Business
Administration Society (BAS) is a student-run organization designed
to meet the needs of business students at the University of New Brunswick
in Saint John. It's mission is to foster well-rounded individuals both
socially and sholastically, to help them become effective contributors
to the community.
CSSA
- Chinese Students and Scholars Association
Our Association is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote
the cultural appreciation; strengthen the cultural awareness; enrich
students and scholars life; exchange friendship with the local community;
provide and create cultural activities; help people who need us.
Economics Society
The UNBSJ Economics Society is a cohersive grop of economics students,
sharing common interests and innovative ideas. Member services include
tutoring, networking, and social events, a testbank, t-shirt, and much
more!

Falstaff
Society, the
The Falstaff Society's
main objective is to foster and promote the arts on campus. Membership
in the society is open to students from all disciplines, alumni and
members of the general public who share an interest in the Arts and
a desire to gather together to socialize, discuss and entertain.
Grad
Class
The Grad Class Executive
represents the graduating class for all matters concerning convocation,
including sitting on the university's convocation committee; choosing
a valedictorian and honorary class graduate (usually a member of the
university's faculty or staff); contracting the photographer for the
grad photos' communicating with all members of the Grad Class; and arranging
social activities for the Grad Class (receptions, sports events, trips,
dances, dinners and so on).

Association (GSA)
The GSA-SJC is an organization of graduate students. It concerns itself with
all aspects of student life at the University, formal and informal. This page
is designed to introduce both new and old students to the GSA-SJC.
Health
Sciences Society
The Health Sciences
Society was founded with the goal to providing an organzation for those
interested in working in the field of Health Sciences.
We provide information on graduate schools, volunteering, as well
as trips to visit universities who offer programs that are of interest
to our members. Last year, our group traveled to Halifax to visit Dalhousie
University and to become more familiar with the Health Sciences faculties
(for example, dentistry, medicine, pharmacy and many more).
In addition, there are various social activities planned: wine and
cheese parties, cosmic bowling, Skate-to-Care, etc. One of our activities
is participating in the Annual Ability Awareness Day in cooperation
with the Ability Awareness Committee. This day is dedicated to raisingawareness
of the challenges faced by those with disabilities.
Our society is lots of fun and we welcome you to become a part of
our group.
India Society
International
Student Association
The
International Students Association (ISA) represents students from over
45 countries including Canada. Our purpose is to promote the level
of interaction between foreign and Canadian students, faculty & staff.
This is done primarily through events such as public potluck dinners,
International party nights, fashion shows and many other events.
Intervarsity
Christian Fellowship
The
IVCF is an interdenominational mission mobilizing Christians within
Canada's educational communities, to declare Jesus Christ as Lord.
It is a nation-wide ministry geared towards high-school and University-aged
students.
IVCF usually has meetings, an hour in length, two or three times
a week. These consist of "Bible studies," lots of encouraging
conversation on relevant topics with Biblical focus, prayer (general
or specific as the need arises), and relationship building.
IVCF is an opportunity
to learn about Jesus Christ, strengthen your relationship with Him,
or begin one if you don’t know Him already.
You need not be a "churchgoer" or "religious," everyone
is welcome! Look for posters advertising times and dates and watch
our bulletin board near Tim Horton’s.
Keith's
Crew
We in the Keith’s Crew would like to take this opportunity to
welcome you to UNBSJ. The goal of our club is to organize and run events,
both on and off campus, that our members will enjoy and that will help
make their stay at university a pleasant one. Membership is cheap and
will allow you to take part in any or all events that you choose. Upon
becoming a member, you will receive you Keith’s Crew T-shirts
as well as many other rewards. All students are welcome to join, regardless
of their age, and are encouraged to attend the events. Some of our
events include smoker buses to Halifax and Fredericton, a day of curling
and a golf game.
Molson Club
The Molson club has over 140 members from countries all over the world.
We are one of the most active social clubs on campus and love to party.
Also, we are the major sponsor for many other clubs on campus.
Our specialty is geared towards holding social events at the University
and giving away tons of great Molson Gear. So far this year we have
hosted First Class Bash, the Molson Kick-off Party, a Halloween Costume
Party, a MatchBox 20 Ticket giveaway at Cougars Lounge, a Crush Concert
at the Aquaris and last but not least Last Class Bash.
We would like to welcome all students to come out to our events even
if you don’t drink. We are about having a good time, having fun
with friends, meeting new people and plus we give away lots of free
stuff!! So come on out to the next Molson Club event and you’ll
have a great time! See you there!
Muslim
Students' Association
The MSA is an organization
that unites the Muslim students on campus. The main objectives of the
MSA are to help the Muslims uphold, preserve and advance the religious,
social and moral standards of Islam, to promote religious, social, civil,
charitable, literary, educational, athletic and other activities compatible
with Islamic principles, to help develop cooperation and understanding
among students of all faiths in general, and Islamic faith in particular
and also to make teachings of Islam known to all interested persons.
Nursing
Society
The Nursing Society's
main goal is to bring together individuals with a common interest in
nursing to develop a better understanding of the issues for both members
and the community at large. The Nursing Society is also interested in
health promotion and providing students with an opportunity to participate
in activities, seminars, and programs to supplement theoretical experiences.
Psychology
Society
The Psychology Society's
mission statement is: (1) To bring together and establish a network
between psychology enthusiasts within the student body; (2) Promote
mental health on campus; (3) To provide a platform for exploring psychological
issues and insights; emerging trends in research and development in
the field of psychology.
UNBSJ Rowing Club If
you’re
looking for a challenge and a good way to get in shape, the UNBSJ
Rowing Club may be for you! With a short season, the Rowing Club
gets up and running very early in the school year with try-outs held
during the first or second week of September. The team then trains
intensely at the Kennebecasis Rowing Club in Rothesay to prepare
for racing in fall regatta’s - typically the Fredericton Rowing
Club’s Four-Bridges Regatta held in early October, and the
McGill Invitational Regatta held in late October. All interested
persons are welcome, from beginners to experienced rowers. If you
