Welcome to the Social Considerations of Aquaculture project, based at the University of New Brunswick (Saint John). Part of an AquaNet and ACOA-funded initiative, this research examines the opinions and attitudes toward the aquaculture industry - both current practices and proposed methods to improve these practices.

     We encourage members of communities, environmental organizations, and the industry to participate in the series of forums and surveys available. Project information, as well as a library and database, can also be found on these pages. The responses that you provide are vital to understanding the issues at stake with the aquaculture industry.
