The project with the community partner Kingston Heritage Inc. will continue with a survey of visitors to the 1810 Carter House Tea Room. The researcher conducted a workshop (Spring, 2004) on Tea Blending with the volunteers at the 1810 Carter House Museum that explored the development of tea as a product for this community enterprise. In addition the researcher has assisted Kingston Heritage Inc. in developing a signature tea blend for the 1810 Carter House Tea Room.

It is anticipated that during the summer of 2006 we will continue this work by using student researchers to carry out a parallel visitor survey at the Kingston Farmers Market.

Much progress was made on this project during the spring and summer of 2006.  Below are two links:  One to a power-point presentation given by CURA Student, Chris Gosse; and another to a Report prepared by Dr. Jollifee and Chris Gosse.
