What is Golden Key?

The Golden Key International Honour Society is a non-profit, international academic organization that emphasizes diversity by honoring students in all fields of study - whether full-time or part-time - for their academic achievement. Members of Golden Key demonstrate a high commitment to success and a willingness to help others in their community. The society encourages this caring spirit by sponsoring a number of service projects throughout the year. To learn more about specific projects at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John, please see our Events page!

How do I become a member?

Every year each university sends out letters to those students who have completed at least one year of university level undergraduate studies from all undergraduate fields, and rank in the top 15% of their faculty. If the students choose to become Golden Key members, they pay a one-time, lifetime membership fee and are inducted into the Society. Members can then enjoy the benefits of being a Golden Key member. More information may be obtained from the Golden Key Website.
