Make a Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make a Difference Day is an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October.
Millions participate! In 2007, 3 million people cared enough about their communities to volunteer and accomplish thousands of projects in hundreds of towns.
This year the Golden Key International Honour Society: UNB Saint John Chapter has chosen to support the Cherry Brook Zoo. We are volunteering for their “Haunted Zoo” on October 25th and having all members raise money through pledge sheets. Our project will be submitted for nomination among all other efforts taking place across North America. Let's get together and make a difference!
