No We Haven’t Thrown Anything Out

j0439465.jpg
We’ve had a few students wondering where all the books have “gone” on the second floor of the library. While we do conduct weeding projects during the summer, to keep our collection current, be assured that we did not dispose of several shelves worth of material. The empty shelves are the result of some new shelving we purchased this summer. The new shelves were placed in the middle of the collection and that means every book needs to be moved section by section as we slowly spread them out on the new shelves; giving them some much needed breathing space. We have students quietly shifting material, and we hope to have all the books spread out on their new shelves by the end of term.

wreath.png candy cane.pngAll this talk about Holidays, but you’re still here on campus finishing things up. Cheer up, that paper will be finished soon or that exam will be written and you will be off ‘till next year.
Why not take a quick break and give yourself an early taste of the season at the Learning Commons on Tuesday Dec 15th any time after 10:30. There will be hot chocolate, cider and of course plenty of candy canes.

Come by and we will Wish You All the Best of the Season – who knows, by then we might even be singing Christmas carols.
