Accommodations:
The Summer Hotel Front Desk is located in the Sir James Dunn Residence. Front Desk hours are:
- weekdays: 7:30am - 10:00pm
- weekends: 8:00am - 10:00pm
Check in time officially begins at 3:00pm. If you arrive earlier we cannot guarantee your room will be ready. If you plan to arrive after the Front Desk is closed please let us know and we will make arrangemnens to give your key to UNB Saint John's 24 hour Security staff. You can pick your key up at the Security Desk in the G. Forbes Elliot Athletic Centre.
Check out time is at 11:00am. Room keys are electronic and are programmed to stop working at check out time on your day of departure.
Payment for your room is due at check in. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, debit and cash. Personal cheques not accepted.
No pets are allowed. This is a UNB Saint John policy which covers all campus buildings and facilities.

Meeting/Conference Rooms, Reception Venues:
UNB Saint John has a variety of meeting rooms, classrooms and lecture theatres to suit whatever your needs might be, whether you are looking for an intimate meeting space for 6 or a large plenary venue for 300.
The majority of our rooms are equipped with state of the art AV equipment that is included with your classroom rental.
UNB Saint John also has a number of dining venues, depending on the size of your group and the type of service you require.
The Baird Dining Hall, located on campus in the Thomas Condon Student Centre, is the ideal location for a large dinner reception.
Our newest venue is Grand Hall, located in Uptown Saint John on King Square. Newly renovated, with full on site catering facilities, Grand Hall can seat 200 for a formal dinner or accommodate 300 for standing reception. See our photo gallery for pictures of recent events.
Food and Bar Services:
For information on catered events of any size or type, Aramark is available to
accommodate all requests including menus requiring dietary restrictions or
specialty themes.

A full service Tim Horton’s is located on campus in the Ward Chipman Library building. Summer hours vary due to customer demand. Please ask Conference Services for up-to-date summer hours.
To add Bar Services to your event, whether you are looking for wine service or a cash bar, contact Conference Services.
Athletics Facilities: The Jeux Canada Games Stadium features
a 400-metre track and a grass playing field. The track surface is
available to the general public for walking/running from dawn until dusk
each day. The G. Forbes Elliott Athletics Centre features a fitness
room and a table tennis room. The gymnasium has a new state-of-the art
floor and allows users to play everything from soccer to badminton, all
at the same time. Day passes are available at the rate of $5/day and allow
users full access to the facility (availability may be subject to schedule
of events). UNB Saint John also has a fitness and nature trail located
behind the Athletics Centre that extends through the university’s
wooded park area onto Kennebecasis Drive, just minutes from the Royal Kennebecasis
Yacht Club or Tucker Park & Beach, in case you are interested in conditioned
jogging, mountain biking or simply want to take a leisurely stroll. Access
to the trail is located near the New Residence.
Bookstore:
The UNB Saint John Bookstore is located in the Ward Chipman Library Building
and is opened Monday to Saturday through the summer months. Why not stop
in during your stay to pick up an article of UNB clothing, a novel, or get
some much needed office supplies for your meetings.
Parking:
Visitors to campus can pay for parking at the meters located
in the Oland Hall parking lot, or purchase a daily parking pass for $4.00
at the pass dispenser just inside the Alumni Gates. Any vehicles parked in a reserved space will be ticketed by
Campus Security.
Safety and Security:
The campus security office is located in the main foyer of the G. Forbes Elliot
Athletics Centre. They can be reached 24 hours at 648-5755, or by pressing
the Security button on any campus payphone.
