General Points

Ensuring students have a safe location to park is our top priority; as such, parking is strictly enforced at the University of New Brunswick, Saint John Campus. Vehicles not registered with Security – not bearing a parking permit and incurring parking violations; will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s risk & expense.  Vehicles in Handicap zones, Fire Lanes, and/or obstructing traffic flow will be towed. There is no parking/stopping/ loading or unloading permitted on a roadway – pickups and drop offs must be done in parking lots. The Safety & Security Office maintains a list of vehicles having  a number of unpaid parking violations associated to them  – these vehicles are subject to tow, on sight, and will not be released until past due violations have been paid; cost to owner will include towing charges and an impound fee imposed by the towing company.  Continued disregard of UNBSJ’s Parking Regulations could result in being banned from driving/parking on UNBSJ property.
