Writing Centre - resources for Faculty & Staff
How we can work with you:
Writing Centre instructors are available to provide assistance to faculty by
- organizing faculty workshops on issues related to writing across the curriculum at UNBSJ
- consulting about articles for publication or applications for grants
Writing Centre instructors are available to work with classes by offering
- workshops or in-class presentations on subjects such as essay-writing, business reports, lab reports, research techniques, oral reports, or essay exams
- follow-up meetings with groups of students who are in the process of a writing project
- assistance for individual students with rewrites of written work (Please note: we prefer that attendance at the Writing Centre be strictly voluntary, in order to maintain a positive atmosphere for learning.)
Writing Centre instructors are available to provide assistance to staff by
- critiquing brochures, memos, or any other written communications
- consulting about any aspect of writing
